A cluster analysis of adenocarcinoma and neuronal CRPC metastases (n=71). The CHGA+/SYP+ sites cluster together (highlighted in orange (AR+) and yellow (AR-)). Genes between CHGA- vs. CHGA+/SYP+ were compared and considered differentially expressed when SAM score was >3 or <-3 and p< 0.005. The resulting 155 genes were hierarchically clustered (centroid linkage) using open source clustering software Cluster 3.0. RetroP: Retroperitoneal, P: Peritoneal.
